More life per sqm: Häfele unveils new home solutions at Vietbuild 2019 HCMC

From furniture fittings to kitchen appliances, Häfele is showcasing a wide range of innovative solutions for space optimization at Vietbuild HCMC – one of Vietnam’s largest construction and furniture events – on June 19-23.

Developed with Häfele’s nearly 100 years of expertise in furniture and advanced technologies, the innovations will help both professionals and homeowners save space effectively in face of shrinking living space caused by urbanization.

One of the main displays at Häfele’s booth this year, for instance, is foldaway beds which can be converted into a sofa or a desk or be hidden behind a wall when needed. Thanks to innovative fittings, users can operate them as easily as a flip and enjoy great comfort in every of their functions.  

Similarly, the latest sliding systems from Häfele come with huge customizability so users can apply to either entrance or wardrobes, saving space significantly compared to traditional hinged doors. In fact, visitors should not miss the Design 80, which is operated with an “invisible” track system – a feature that adds great aesthetics to the space and makes many professionals dub the system “the magic door”.

Kitchen and door solutions

This year Häfele will also officially launch two of its latest innovations for the most significant living space: hob-hood combi and dishwasher-sink combi. Compact in size and optimal in functionality, the appliances once again reflect Häfele’s philosophy of “more life per sqm”, helping homeowners work comfortably in their kitchen regardless of its size. 

Another two new developments are the collection of granite sinks from Germany and elegantly-designed home appliances range from Smeg such as oven, microwave, hood, hob, and SDAs. Smeg is an Italian upmarket brand for home appliances best known for “technology with style” and to be officially distributed by Häfele starting from this year.    

Meanwhile, those visitors who are interested in home security will not be disappointed with the newly-expanded range of Häfele’s electronic locks. Be it a wooden, glass, iron or sliding door, homeowners now can find a quality solution for their home entrance with a variety of secure and convenient access methods – fingerprints, Bluetooth, RFID cards, and passcodes.

Aside from the displays, Häfele’s booth will too feature many exciting activities for visitors such as a live cooking show host by Top Chef Vietnam 2014’s runner-up Steven Long and the auction of displayed kitchens and wardrobes.
